Things to do in Rome in February.
Well the most important date in Febuary for most people is Valentines day and Rome in February most certainly has its romantic side. In fact if you want to see Rome all at once with the most spectacular and romantic view of our historic city, then you should climb the Vittorio Emanuele ll monument.
Nick named the wedding cake or the type writer, it was began in 1895 and finished in the 1940s. The view from the top will blow you away as you can see the whole city of Rome including the Dome of Saint Peters Basilica even though it is the direct opposite side of Rome. The sun sets in Rome in February around 6pm which is a beautiful time to be up there and what better way to finish your site seeing than to have a glass of wine on the level below.
Rome in February is also an important time for rugby fans as the Six Nations begins on the 4th of February. Scholars Lounge is the place to be. It is one of the biggest Irish pubs in Europe(outside of Ireland of course) and the most popular Irish bar in Rome. Scholars has 8 gigantic screens, 11 beers on draught and the largest whiskey collection in Italy. You can watch every game with your fellow Country men and I will be there without doubt cheering for Ireland.
And finally if you are interested in taking a tour of the more well known sites in Rome in February such as the Vatican or the Colosseum, you can join Roman Empire Tours. Check out our reviews on tripadvisor.
We hope you that you really enjoy Rome in February and that you have a safe trip!
